The Winchester-Clark County Parks and Recreation Department sponsors and hosts many community events and classes. Following is a list of upcoming programs, their dates, times, locations and cost, if applicable. | Stroll to Fitness |

| Location: College Park Gym Cost: $3/class |
A stroller fitness classfor moms who want to incorporate fitness into a busy lifestyle while spending time with their children and being a positive role model. The class is one hour of pushing your child in a stroller while doing various exercises. The last 10 minutes of class is a circle time for baby sign language, songs, or conversation. The instructor is Rene Hauck.

The chess club is for all ages! Learn about the game and the basic strategies involved, then improve your game by playing others in the club. The chess club meets on the 1st Monday and 3rd Thursday of each month at College Park Gym.

This is a year around program offered to people over the age of 60. The exercises offered are movement, low impact exercises, and exercises using light weights.
The classes are on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays each week from 10:00am until 10:30am at the College Park Gym.

| Winter Volleyball |

Winter Volleyball will begin on Jan. 4, 2009. Registration will be from December 1, 2009 to December 28, 2009. It will be held in the College Park Gym. The cost is $250 per team which is due at time of registration (all in one check). A mandatory Coaches' Meeting will be on December 30 at 6:00pm. Basic Step Aerobics will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the College Park Library. The cost will be $40 for the session and run from Jan. 12, 2010 thru Feb. 4, 2010.
